Limited Space Available

*Registration will close as soon as the available 15 seats have been reserved.

Fully guided package tour just for you.

The Japan Study Camp & Tour was founded to deliver a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Japan - the birthplace of Judo. With France coming in number 2 and Russia in number 3, Japan came in first with the most medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics, taking 3 gold, 1 silver, and 8 bronze medals.

During the 2017 and 2018 trip, the tour included a 12 day immersion in Japanese culture. Participants learned about Judo’s rich history on a fully-guided tour with trips to Tokyo’s top sightseeing destinations. As part of the Judo camp, participants received world class instruction while training at four of the top universities and 2 of the top private dojos, including the Kodokan Institute. Students received unique opportunities to build friendships with Judoka from around the world while experiencing elite-level training programs.

"To have been able to visit & practice at the top Universities & the Kodokan in Japan and meet the elite Judokas was an amazing experience. We got the chance to experience Japanese Judo! The opportunities given by Nakano Sensei were experiences we would not have been able to achieve if we planned a trip on our own. "
